About SOM
Equip for Life School of Ministry (SOM) is an extension of the Florida Multicultural District Assemblies of God Multicultural Theological Institute. ESOM has now offers the Deaf program in American Sign Language. We encourage and equip leaders, pastors, and ministers to participate in the preaching of the gospel with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our vision is to raise up a generation of leaders and ministers ready to take the Gospel to today’s world

What We Offer
SOM offer a studies at a level of Bible Institute for those that desire to better prepare themselves in order to serve their church. Our program has the endorsement of the national office General Council of the Assemblies of God in Springfield, Mo. for credentialing purpose.
This program takes three years to complete, with a fourth year called Ministerial Advancement for those credential ministers of the District that desire to be ordained.
The Bible Institute program consist of:
- Seven courses of 15 hours per year
- Graduating with a diploma by completing 21 courses
- Ministerial Advancement courses
- We have an agreement with Southeastern University and Valley Forge University, for students that complete four year of study, to receive up to 1-year (24) credits towards an associate or bachelor degree.
- Offered only in Orlando, Florida.
